From Climate Management to Nature Integrity

In this keynote, I discuss the needed transition from climate management to nature integrity. While the latter is anchored in footprint thinking and attributes responsibility to corporates based on their historical and ongoing damage, nature integrity adopts a more equitable approach and attributes responsibility to companies based on their financial power (rooted in revenue or valuation). While controversial, the talk aimed to recognize the reality that “the polluter does not pay” and that we urgently need a new way to think about corporate responsibility.
